Accelerated Reader in the Classroom

The Accelerated Reader program is a computer-based program that helps track students' reading progress. Students choose books at their own reading level and take short quizzes after reading to check their understanding. The program provides feedback to parents and teachers on the books read, quiz results, and reading level growth. It encourages students to read more by offering incentives for reaching reading goals. Additionally, it helps teachers and parents monitor and support students' reading development.

Each month your child will be responsible for reaching 5 points by the end of the month. Students must read books and pass each comprehension test to be award points. Students will be receiving a Reading grade depending on how many points they earn.
